Your Mission:

As our Activity Director, you will:

• Plan, develop, and lead activity programs that bring joy and engagement to our residents.
• Collaborate with residents and families to create meaningful, personalized experiences.
• Stay up to date with federal and state regulations to ensure compliance and excellence.
• Be a creative problem-solver and develop innovative activities that address residents’ unique needs.
• Participate in resident assessments, care planning, and discharge planning to ensure activities are integrated into holistic care.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire your activities team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
• Build connections with the community, volunteers, and healthcare professionals to enhance the activity program.

What We’re Looking For:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as an Activity Director- Required
• At least two years of experience in a recreation program, with one year in a healthcare setting.
• Leadership skills and the ability to inspire and manage a team.
• A creative mindset and a passion for bringing joy and engagement to residents.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of regulations governing recreation services in nursing facilities.
