Job Description

• Greeting customers and obtain all necessary insurance coverage for Damaged vehicles
• Consulting with technicians about needed repairs, tear down and estimates
• Answering customer questions about repairs
• Informing customers about insurance findings
• Overseeing and managing the Body Shop scheduling and workflow
• Informing customers of changes in repair times or when their vehicle is ready to be picked up

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet customers promptly
• Obtain customer and vehicle information
• Clearly report all vehicle damage to the insurance carriers
• Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
• Establish follow up time
• Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the repair, and update customers daily
• Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
• Explain all completed work and charges to customers and collect funds for the repairs

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction
• Past experience as a Body Shop estimator, service advisor, assistant lane manager or service consultant
• Above-average energy level
• A desire for a long-term career with a growing organization
• Personal and professional integrity
• Computer skills and willingness to learn new programs including CCC Estimating system and Dealertrack DMS
