Hourly Rate (Based on Experience):
$27.72 – $39.60/hour
Differentials:
Specialty Differential: +$2.50/hour
Night Shift: +$3/hour
Weekend Shift: +$2/hour
Bonuses:
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $25,000 (Night Shift Only, Case-by-Case)
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit (CSICU). This role is ideal for someone with strong clinical judgment, autonomy, and a commitment to providing exceptional care to critically ill patients recovering from cardiac surgeries. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering life-saving interventions in a high-acuity environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver critical care to post-operative cardiac surgery patients
Conduct in-depth clinical assessments and monitor patient progress
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Educate patients and families regarding post-op care, medications, and treatments
Uphold patient rights, privacy, and dignity
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal outcomes
Contribute to continuous improvement in clinical practices
Experience:
1+ years of acute care RN experience required
ICU experience preferred but not mandatory
Licensing & Certifications:
Active Florida RN License
Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Required within 6 months of hire
NIH Stroke Scale Certification – Required within 30 days
CCRN Certification – Preferred (must obtain within 2 years)
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
