Description In this position, you will perform duties as a Central Service Technician (CST) which includes distribution of supplies and equipment as assigned within UCLA Health System. This position is a support position to patient care. Assignments are given according to organizational goals. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to placing orders to replenish inventory supply levels, assessing inventory turns to adjust par levels to accommodate changing demand, receiving and transporting supplies weighing up to 50 pounds to their destination locations, reconciling packing slips against delivered content, and restocking inventory supply areas. You will complete all duties of par management including following up on vendor direct orders, manage the module supply cart in the assigned area and maintaining barcode labels. Salary Range: $25.06-25.06/hr Qualifications + Ability to push and pull up to 150 pounds and lift up to 50 pounds. + Willingness to comply with healthcare regulations for infection control, including masking. + Self-starter with effective time management and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. + Ability to maintain a positive attitude and work as a team in a fast-paced environment. + Flexibility to changes in workload, assignments, and schedules across different shifts and weekends. + Organized to stay current in required HR online competency classes on policy and safety between tasks. + Consistently maintain a safe, clean working environment and report unsafe acts or conditions. + High proficiency in English to articulate issues, concerns, and responses verbally and electronically. + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with clinical interruptions for supply requests. + Actively participates in Quality Management and PIE programs; adheres to Materials Management and UCLA policies/procedures. + Ability to attend all workshops, classes, drills, etc., as requested.
