Job Title: Electrical Project Manager Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Project Manager to schedule and manage all aspects of electrical construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in electrical project management and will be responsible for overseeing projects ranging from $10k to $1M. You will coordinate with various teams to ensure successful project completion in compliance with safety standards and local codes. Responsibilities + Coordinate with estimators, engineers, subcontractors, field personnel, and clients. + Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, local codes, and safety standards. + Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. + Develop and manage budgets, timelines, and resource allocations. + Prepare and present progress reports to internal stakeholders and clients. + Conduct site visits to monitor work quality, productivity, and adherence to project plans. + Manage procurement of materials and equipment in coordination with purchasing teams. + Resolve project-related issues, delays, or technical problems promptly. + Ensure timely project closeout including documentation, inspections, and customer handoff. Essential Skills + Electrical project management experience with projects ranging from $10k to $1M. + Experience reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications. + Proficiency in project management software such as Procore and Microsoft Project. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Desired) + Journeyman or Master Electrician license. (Desired) + PMP or similar project manager certification. (Desired) Work Environment The work environment is primarily office-based with regular travel to job sites and other branch offices, accounting for about 20% travel. The role may require occasional evening or weekend work depending on project needs. You must be able to walk construction sites, climb ladders, and navigate active job sites safely. You will be part of a team of about three project managers. This position is part of a 100% employee-owned company, offering an ESOP retirement plan with significant contributions over the past five years. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $125000.00/yr. 1. 100% ESOP - we are 100% employee owned. The ESOP operates as a retirement plan for our employees. The typical contribution of stock and/or cash to an employee's account has been WELL over 20% the last 5 years. 2. NECA-IBEW Pension Trust Fund - we contribute 5% of an employee's salary. The net benefit payout per month is 1% of the balance of all prior contributions made.3. NEBF Pension - we contribute 3% of an employee's salary. The net benefit payout per month is $33 times the years of service.4. Health, dental, vision insurance is 100% employer funded for employee AND family through the NECA-IBEW Welfare Trust Fund5. 401k Plan - no company match (ESOP is better than any match)6. 2 weeks PTO per year7. 6 sick days per year8. 8 paid holidays per year9. Incentive - subject to company performance. Incentive has averaged over 10% last 5 years. Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Springfield,IL.
