Job Description

Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year Requirements:

• I hold a Bachelor’s Degree and have over 4 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and 8+ years of relevant work experience.
• I possess a strong understanding of various cabling methodologies, industry standards, troubleshooting strategies, and can read and comprehend cable run lists.
• I have practical experience in installing endpoints like desktop IT equipment, printers, VoIP, digital phones, and network switches.
• I am skilled in resolving technical issues and addressing inquiries related to computer hardware, networks, and telecommunications systems.

• I will support all aspects of phone installations and troubleshoot various telephone systems.
• I am responsible for the installation, pulling, termination, and proper dressing of cabling according to industry and sponsor standards.
• I will troubleshoot and repair faulty connections, dropped calls, and hardware issues.
• I will configure call routing, voicemail, extensions, and phone features as needed.
• I may need to travel locally between customer buildings or be temporarily assigned to a different location to support special projects.
• As a member of a diverse team, I will provide coverage from 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. with flexibility to support 24x7 operations, which may include extended hours during peak periods and being available for last-minute requests.

- Preferred qualifications include related work experience in IT hardware and cabling installation, as well as experience with implementation on the sponsor's network LAN infrastructure.
- I have the ability to adapt to rapidly changing tasks and requirements, and I can quickly acquire new skills on the job.
- I must possess a current and active TS/SCI clearance with a Polygraph.
- Physically, I must be able to remain stationary for at least 25% of the time and operate a computer, phone, and other office equipment for extended periods.
- I should be capable of moving within and between buildings and offices, maintaining equipment and cabling, including working under desks and in server closets, some of which may be confined spaces.
- I am able to lift and move audio/visual or computer equipment weighing over 50 pounds, which may sometimes require a team lift or the use of carts, and I must be able to ascend and descend a ladder of over 10 feet while pulling cables and adjusting equipment.
