Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a garden crew of 2 or more members, ensuring efficient and high-quality work.
• Drive and operate a mason dump safely for transportation of materials and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as weeding, pruning, and planting to maintain the health and aesthetics of gardens.
• Collaborate with the Horticulture Manager to meet and exceed client expectations during routine service visits.
• Maintain accurate records of time and materials used at job sites for reporting purposes.
• Prepare, load, and unload trucks with necessary tools and materials for daily tasks.
• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of trucks and equipment, promoting a tidy work environment.
• Participate in safety trainings and staff meetings to uphold a safe and efficient workplace.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of gardening experience, including planting, pruning, and weeding. Leadership experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in plant identification is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills to interact effectively with clients.
• Ability to safely perform heavy lifting and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• U.S. Work Authorization is required.

Compensation

$21 - $23 per Hour , based on experience and performance.
