Ayres MEP division is seeking to hire a full-time mechanical designer. You’ll be working with a great group of people on a diverse variety of projects. On Any Given Day, You’ll - Model buildings using Revit family of tools.
- Preform HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems design.
- Run energy calculations using Trane Trace and EnergyPro.
- Run ventilation and indoor air quality calculations, as well as a variety of plumbing calculations.
- May be called upon to complete 2D-drafting using AutoCAD tools.
- Coordinate mechanical design with electrical and architectural team.
Required Qualifications - An associates degree in mechanical design, bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering with an emphasis on mechanical.
Desired Skills And Experiences - Strong modeling skills.
- Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD.
- Experience with calculation tools.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel.

Our good-faith compensation approach is fair and equitable, and takes into consideration only permissible factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, training, skills, and experience, and geographic location where the work is performed. A salary range for this posting is $70000 - $95000. The foregoing salary range represents what the company believes, in good-faith, it will pay for the posted opportunity. The individual selected for this role will be evaluated with the compensation factors in mind and placed appropriately.
