Job Title: Payroll Coordinator

Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 / year

Our client is looking for a Payroll Coordinator to support a busy HR/Finance team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable managing a variety of payroll processes while ensuring accuracy and compliance. This position plays a key role in maintaining smooth payroll operations and supporting a collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll, including obtaining necessary approvals and sign-offs.
· Assist with employee onboarding, terminations, and contractor setup to ensure proper payroll setup.
· Maintain accurate payroll and timekeeping records; audit entries for compliance and accuracy.
· Process adjustments, supplemental pay, and other payroll-related corrections as needed.
· Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, accruals, or related issues.
· Support garnishments, deductions, and other special payroll entries.
· Generate reports to support audits, management review, or payroll reconciliations.
· Provide training and support to departmental users on payroll procedures and systems.
· Serve as backup support for payroll leadership and assist with other payroll-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
· Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
· Experience with payroll systems, timekeeping systems, and Microsoft Office.
· Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
