Job Description

We are seeking highly skilled registered nurses (RNs) for our Adult Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to provide direct patient care to critically ill patients. RNs will collaborate with military and civilian healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes, delivering high-quality care across various specialties in a dynamic and fast-paced healthcare environment. This role involves monitoring vital signs, managing complex medical conditions, and maintaining a sterile and safe environment for patients in critical situations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including thorough assessments and ongoing monitoring of their condition. 
  • Collaborate with military and civilian healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for intensive care patients. 
  • Maintain strict infection control protocols and ensure a safe environment for patients and healthcare staff. 
  • Continuously monitor and accurately document vital signs, patient responses, and overall progress. 
  • Prepare and manage medical equipment and supplies necessary for various intensive care interventions. 
  • Assist the healthcare team by anticipating needs and delivering timely support during critical care procedures. 
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, recovery expectations, and resources for post-ICU care. 
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and comply with all institutional policies and healthcare regulations. 
  • Ensure accurate and complete medical records are maintained in line with healthcare standards and regulations.

Qualifications



Basic Requirements/Certifications:

  • Must have a valid unrestricted RN license from any US State or territory. 
  • Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). 
  • Minimum of 1-2 Years of experience in specialty in the last 3-5 years. 

Education Required: 

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or prior experience in a military or government healthcare facility is strongly preferred. 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods.
  • May be exposed to contagious diseases, radiation, and high-stress environments.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English to effectively communicate. 
  • US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card is required. 
  • Pass/possess VA Public Trust Clearance. 

Additional Information



Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data. 

Compensation: Min: $40hr Max: $75hr 

Benefits – Full-time positions are eligible for our comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance.
