Our CarePlus Specialty Pharmacy specializes in Oncology, MS, Hepatitis, HIV, Rheumatology, Dermatology, Transplant and Gastrointestinal diseases and we're adding Pharmacy Technicians to this team! As a Pharmacy Technician, you will focus on refill calls, set up deliveries to patients, answer phones, and process, fill, and ring out prescriptions. In addition, you will work closely with others to process prior authorizations, copay assistance, and benefits verification. You should be motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and have excellent communication skills along with the ability to learn new operating systems, pharmacology, and medical technology. We will also provide a variety of paid pass options for Public Transportation including bus, train, etc. Responsibilities: Communicates with specialty retail customers on upcoming promotions, discounts, or marketing campaigns that include relevant offers and incentives. Monitors merchandising efforts for specialty products to ensure that products are appropriately displayed and that prices and promotional materials are clearly visible. Operates within the specialty retail team, providing basic technical support for product setup and installation. Defines the scope of key performance indicators to reflect sales targets and customer service ratings. Supports training and development opportunities for the specialty retail team that aim to enhance technical skills and improve specialty product knowledge. Complies with safety protocols that mitigate potential hazards and/or risks associated with specialty retail products. Works to develop an in-depth knowledge of specialty retail products, which generally includes product features, specifications, and technical aspects. Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior Relevant Work Experience 0-1 year Essential Qualifications Working knowledge of problem solving and decision making skills Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred. **Anticipated Weekly Hours** 40 **Time Type** Full time **Pay Range** The typical pay range for this role is: $17.00 - $34.15 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
